The Mat Fraser MF edition of Nike Metcon 8 is once again engineered to the demands of the first 5x “Fittest Man on Earth,” with new improvements and design elements co-developed with Fraser himself.

This model is lighter than the previous version with enhanced airflow and textured overlays in high-wear areas to help keep the feet cool without sacrificing durability. Powered by Nike’s React technology, the durable foam construction provides a comfortable, cushioned base that also puts an extra spring in the step during sprints and high intensity cardio. 

Grippy rubber wraps around the arch and a dependable rubber tread provide a firm hold on rope climbs and excellent traction on any surface. Like the standard Metcon 8, the Fraser edition also includes a wide, flat, flexible heel with an inner plate that distributes weight from edge to edge for even greater stability on lifts. 

Externally, the new black-and-red design features several references to Mat Fraser’s career and work ethic, including a letterman jacket style patch, HWPO (“Hard Work Pays Off”) slogan, a GOAT above the Nike swoosh, and a stylized number 5 to mark the champ’s title count.
